According to Hoges this board is essentially a minimal, made for good conditions, but is so versatile that anyone can ride it in almost any conditions. 

The the LP is designed just for fun! It paddles well, turns well, but is still stable and buoyant. The low entry rocker makes it fast and easy to paddle and the increased (high) tail rocker makes it more manoeuvrable.  Medium rails provide control and a single to double concave gives speed and lift. 

This smaller wave thruster performs well in anything 2-6ft and is a wave catching machine designed purely for fun.  The LP will allow you to progress your surfing but you will never grow out of it.
