Step down to step up! The cage fighter is Hoges’ wave catching machine. Originally designed as a shorter wide nosed step up it has later been discovered thanks to the 5 fin option it also goes epic as a small wave board when set up as a quad.

Ridden 3 inches shorter and than your standard step-up the Cage Fighter has a very flat entry rocker for paddle power and a medium tail rocker for hold and manoeuvrability. This is combined with low rails and a tight tail to help give you control and sharp turning area in critical conditions. Whereas the wide nose and quad set up give you ridiculous paddle and trimming speed in the smaller sloppier conditions.

This board will suit intermediate to advanced surfers looking to have a board they can rely on in small and big waves in the 3-10ft range, beach and reef breaks. Board inspired by Tony ‘Doris’ Eltherington.
